Elsulaimaniya Trust is a Scottish registered charity (SC041063) providing food, healthcare, clean water and emergency relief to communities in Elsulaimaniya and River Nile State, Sudan.

Sudan is enduring an acute humanitarian crisis, and millions face severe food shortages. Working with our Sudanese partner ACAD, we are providing daily meals and food parcels to more than 3,500 displaced families in Atbara, River Nile State.
£25 provides two daily meals for a family for a whole month.
What we do
Emergency relief
Food, shelter, clothing and essentials for families displaced by the conflict in Sudan.
Healthcare
Essential medications and medical support for displaced families, delivered with our partner ACAD.
Clean water & infrastructure
Water supply, solar power and an ambulance serving the Elsulaimaniya community.
Education & community
Supporting children’s education and seasonal giving including Zakat and Qurbani.
Who we are
Elsulaimaniya Trust was founded in Aberdeen in 2009 to relieve poverty and suffering in the Elsulaimaniya area and River Nile State of northern Sudan. We are volunteer-run, and we work through trusted partners on the ground.
